Fiancé and I are getting married November 9, 2019 in Smith Mountain Lake, VA! Veterans Day weekend! Super short engagement and honestly I have been stressed, but my mom is very sick and I want to be able to share my day with her. Anyone else getting married that weekend?

    I’m sorry to hear about all the stress you’ve been under. You will cherish the memories you have with your mom on your wedding day forever, so although stressful planning with a short engagement, it will be so worth it in the end.

    short engagement is tough but I have the majority of the tasks done. Just some little ones now!

    Thank you!! So very excited. Just need to figure out transportation from hotel to venue, but I have started contacting people about that. Hair, makeup, nothing crazy!
