How does it feel to plan so far in advance ?

May 5, 2023 here and I have most all the major stuff booked. Being in a popular destination wedding area (FL) plus so many Covid postponements really made it worth the time and effort NOW. Our venue is honoring their 2021 prices, so big money savings there. Our DJ is voted #1 in the area, so YAY, we snagged him as well. I am still on the fence between to photographers, so I plan on maybe doing a pre-photo shoot kind of deal to see how we feel. I found my dress and grabbed it quickly, as I want tea-length and a certain look and there it was. The rest - florist, minister, invitations & cake can wait, though I have ideas for same. As far as how does it feel? It feels fantastic knowing I can relax and have fun with the smaller details now.

March 11, 2023 here! We booked our venue which comes with our choice of a few different DJs, photographers and florists. So those are all booked and our venue has in house catering.

We're booking venue this week, most everything else will be DIY or done by family friends.

Our big day is April 15, 2023! Have the venue and church booked. Working on sending out Save the Dates and picking out food options for our reception!

April 15, 2023 is our date. We are going to get married at the Grand Canyon at Lipan point during the golden hour. Just the two of us.
