Hello Couples! Me and my Fiancé are older! Both been there, done that! 😊 We are retired, have grown children and we each have four grandchildren. So this will be Our Happily Ever After Marriage! 💖🥰We are getting married at a church in Columbia, MD. We got engaged at our home church. Small wedding/reception 50 people! My parents have blessed us with a 10 Day All Inclusive Honeymoon to Saint Lucia! 🏝

How has the Coronavirus affected your wedding plans? I was planning to get married in Jamaica on April 18, with all guests having to fly from the US or Korea... but now my relatives from Korea won’t be able to attend due to restrictions, my elderly grandmother won’t be able to join, and I’m wondering if we should just cancel it in case more guests decide not to travel.. curious what other people who are getting married on the same day are planning due to the virus...

Hi there Judy. My partner and I are in a bit of similar boat, particularly, today after Trump's announcement of the travel ban on people coming from the EU and other countries within Europe. We reside here in Europe but had planned to have a homecoming wedding in the USA and a good part of our guest list is people coming in from different parts of Europe. We've contacted our venue in order to discuss some plan B options. At this point, I'm not sure what to expect and if the ban expands, we might not even be allowed in to attend our own wedding reception, which would be crazy, but imaginable. I'm stressed, but trying my best to stay calm and look at what our choices actually are before making a decision. I think you should do the same. Talk to your venue and your guests. Weigh the options. Then decide.

I'm praying that all goes well. We do have people driving from Maryland, Florida and South Carolina. If COVID-19 gets any worse, we will go to the justice of the peace and say our I Dos.....I'm thinking about that anyway and just having a reception on April 18th. As to not lose out on any money already spent. Good luck my date twins........
