Couples getting married on April 23, 2023

How many of you feel wedding favors for your guests are a mandatory thing, like your guests are actually expecting one? I personally have a drawer full of them. Hardly like any of them.

Favors are totally optional! Many times, people leave them behind. If you skip them, no one will miss them. If you really wanted to do favors, I recommend choosing something that is edible.

I agree. I was going to do a “carnival cart” but I think at 11:30 at night it will be too late for people to eat cotton candy, and most will walk right by it! Probably going to pass on the whole idea. Thank you for your response.

If a second dessert is a wedding favor, I guess we are doing them. Smores for the fire pit. Otherwise, no, total waste.

I dont think they are mandatory but are always nice for guests to remember the day! They dont have to be anything massive (we are giving personalized coasters!)

I'm on team no party favors. No one wants stuff with your names on it. When I get favors I feel bad if I throw them away so I keep them somewhere random forever and then eventually I'm like ok, I am throwing this out.

Hmmm I am half way about them! I think it would be cute but I also think it would be a waste. My fiancee whats to do something simple like candy... Ive only been to one wedding & I am on the fence... what kind of favor were you thinking of?

I’m not doing wedding favors, and my coordinators advised against them. Waste of money because they always get left behind. In my opinion, anyway.

I thought it would be fun to do them, but I was not able to find anything worth while. I have recently been to a couple of weddings, that had favors and I put them away and have never looked at them again. Smiley sad I think I will pass.
