Congrats! The first thing is to agree on a budget and if it's a small wedding certain things will be much easier to plan. The next is the venue, if you don't have one yet then I would definitely start to look and with a smaller wedding you may have more options as venues that hold 100ish+ will likely be booked for August 2022. The first things I booked due to demand were venue, photographer, DJ, caterer, and baker, and I have an off the rack dress so it was only a worry about finding a seamstress, but I've heard in some cases with covid and stuff that dresses are getting stuck at ports due to shipping delays or that bridal shops have over a 6 month wait to get the dress and that's all before alterations. The guest list is also a huge one, especially if you're going to give a set number to each side of parents (we gave ours each 30 and it took them both over 3 weeks to give me names). I would recommend getting all the major expenses accounted for/booked and then begin working on details like decor, timeline, playlist, seating, invites, etc...

That sounds like a great venue choice! I sent out my save the dates 10 months in advance. If you do plan to send some out, I would aim to have them in the mail by the end of February at the latest.
