What are you thinking of doing for your save the dates? Have you started working on them yet?

Hi date twin! We just got engaged on 6/7, and we already have the reception venue! The 1st deposit is in, and the contract is signed! Yay! We are getting married in my church, and I have the date and time sort of set - I had 1:30, but I think I will move it to 2, which should be no problem.

I am thinking about sending out Save The Dates around Jan-Feb 2020. Most of our guests are local, but I figure that will give them plenty of notice so they don't plan last-minute vacations. But I also figured that our wedding date will be great because people are usually back from vacations and getting their kids ready to go to school!

I have been in discussions with a photographer, and I am going to speak to her on the phone on Monday!

We actually just locked down our photographer and videographer this past week! It’s a young married couple and they are so sweet!

I already have our save the dates printed out! I keep going back and fourth about when to send them. We got the magnet deal through Shutterfly so... I want to send them out so we can decorate our friends and family’s homes lol! I am seeing people typically send the Save the dates 6-8 months in advance. February seems like a great time!

Next on the list to lock down is music! Our event coordinator helped me narrow down tasks by telling me to lock down photo and dj asap!
