Couples getting married on August 5, 2023

I have chosen venue, colors and Cordinator
I’m told it’s early to decide food and dress so will this Aug
I have clients who dj and do photography so I will chose one of them and I own salons so hair is all good however I need a makeup artist ! I am just lax with it our budget is $50,000 our venue cost $15,600 I also follow this app for what I should be doing next. Congrats wedding twin!!!!!!!!❤️

Congrats!!! I have tried to get a lot of the “big” decisions done and booked, so we have started with getting most of our vendors selected. I’ve booked the venue, DJ, photographer, caterer, bartenders, and a hotel block. I know a lot of it is premature, but I like getting the major things out of the way so we can have fun with the smaller details! My next step will probably be dress shopping.

Thank you and congrats to you as well! I am touring my last venue tomorrow and then I will make a final decision on the venue (they both agreed to hold my date for now). Me and my fiancé already decided the colors together. I made an appointment for dress shopping so that I can get an idea of the style that will best fit me now. Also, I am very short statured, so I am going to have to have a lot of alterations done and I want to make sure that is all prepared on time. My budget is $10,000 so I am trying to get the most expensive things out of the way first so I can see what I am working with after those items are done with. My future sister in law is doing all of our makeup and hair so that makes that part just a little easier on us. Again congrats wedding twin!!!!!

Hi Morgan! I have also decided on the colors. I have one more venue to tour and then I can start making final decisions on that. I toured venues in different cities so that I can have different options when it came to the wedding. Thank you and congrats on yours as well!

Hi Kelli! I am also trying to get most of the bigger items out of the way. I don't want to wait to late and get overwhelmed and cause more stress then there needs to be closer to the wedding. I have one last venue touring tomorrow and then I can make a final decision on that. I also made an appointment to go look at wedding dresses so I can get an idea on what style I would like.

Hi Laronda! I completely get that. It is so hard to find the right venue at the right price. I have narrowed my options down to two and now I am going to weigh the pros and cons of both to make a final decision. I think that once you fall completely in love with something your mind is already made up. I have also picked my colors and wedding party as well. View Quoted Comment I was surprised when venue said $15,600 ! My client was married there 3mo before I went to view and she paid $8,000! They said by my wedding next year prices went up. That being said around us the least expensive venue was $6,500. I’d say venue is def our most expensive with food costing almost as much. I def chose a dress style and can’t wait to try them on
I suggest a day of Cordinator if venue doesn’t offer one. Ours offer decore and flowers however I’m not using flowers but for bouquet and I’m nervous because they have a flower field you pick from and I’m a Cala Lilly person which I know won’t be there so the flower part doesn’t do me much good. I’ve been browsing Etsy for flowers and guest signing so far I like the jenga idea that we can play for a long time with notes from guest. My question is do we buy a extra bouquet for the tossing? I kinda wanna keep mine 😂

$15,600 seems a little crazy, but every place is completely different. The higher priced venues in my area are only $3,500. I am the same way with the flowers. For me it just seems like a waste to pay a lot of money on flowers that are just going to die, and my allergies would not be able to handle all of the flowers. I was going to look at Etsy for fake flowers to decorate. The only real flowers we will have are for the bouquet. I would recommend buying an extra if you want to keep yours. I am a very sentimental person so I might do the same thing.

Yay! I just booked my venue this past week and found the right dress. I just have to order it now.

Twin’ got engaged In December! I’ve done all inclusive venue, photography ( still undecided on video), colors, bridesmaid boxes, and I’ve gone dress shopping twice. I tried to look into hotel blocks but I was told it’s too early. Officiant, dj, and choosing a dress will be next!

Hey wedding twin! So far I’ve got most of the larger ticket items out of the way. I have booked the venue, DJ and Photographer. I have also bought my dress already. I picked out my color scheme for decorations and also the color the bridesmaids are going to wear. Work at your own pace love. We will all get there.

Hello wedding date twins! I have my colors, most of my record and both venues, catering, and photographer booked. I'm still dress shopping and I'm also trying to stay under 10k for my budget. Weddings are so overpriced. I've been thrifting most my decor off Facebook marketplace which I definitely recommend! People will sell whole sets of reception decor, chargers, florals ect.

I'm getting married on Aug. 5, 2023, as well. I have no clue where to buy wedding dress. I'm not looking for a crazy expensive wedding dress, maybe, $800 to $1200? I'm not sure how expensive they are. Can someone please give me some idea where to start?
