Hi Juliana!! Congrats on your engagement! While you have plenty of time before the big day, piecing a few things together now can cut down on the stress later. Typically couples send save the dates about 4-6 months before the wedding. This allows future guests enough time to plan in advance and make the needed arrangements. The advice I heard was to not send out save the dates more than a year in advance so guest will not get confused on the date. If you plan on a destination wedding though I would send them out as early as you can so people have time to save up.

I was thinking about sending mine out in August or September. I dont want to send them out too early because they might forget... or lose it... or it'll just become another thing they look past on their fridge.

You should start planning, the venues get booked out a year in advance .

I just sent my save the dates today! I have friends and most of my family flying in and I wanted to give ample planning time!
