Couples getting married on February 18, 2023

Since I am planning a destination wedding, I have chosen the location (Merida, Yucatan), and have narrowed the venues down to 2 haciendas. My fiancé and I have both created rough drafts of our guest lists and we have pretty much decided on what we want for that day. For example we don’t want to have a wedding party since we want an Intimate wedding with only close family/friends, we want a mezcal margarita table and we want tacos for dinner.. lol yes we want fun and casual. Our next step is meeting with several wedding planners via Skype next week and once we hire her she would act as an intermediary between all the vendors and us since the location is so far away. I'm also doing a sort of destination wedding, I have the venue booked and I've basically decided on everything else I want aesthetically but haven't actually booked anything else. I'll be doing all the floral and decor myself though so I've mostly be shopping through inspiration photos and reading reviews on what to get.

I’m planning a destination wedding in Nigeria which makes it really difficult to plan ahead. I won’t even be able to hire a wedding planner till September. I’m trying not to stress about it and to do what I can from here (I live in the US).
