Couples getting married on February 26, 2022

I'm a 2/22/22 bride. It is close but not quite your date since it is a weekday. We still haven't figured out the music AT ALL! I also am doing my own makeup and still need to buy lipstick (the kind that won't smear when I kiss or wear a mask). Excited, but anxious.

By music I mean picking the songs. We have a DJ

Nervous!! I haven’t gotten my dress back yet 😭

I did mine through a grocery store called Publix! They have amazing cake and it was way cheaper than a lot of bakery's

Excited! But my cake lady is not answering Still have a few things left on my list - a major one, if I want to walk down a small aisle and how to decorate that lol. (we have a very small wedding, just family)

I just got mine yesterday. Whew!

Mine is on the 26th, destination wedding. So we had to finalize a lot of the logistics about a month ago like wedding cake and food. I only JUST got my shoes and picked up my final dress. I still need a hairpiece, decide on jewelry, finalize my ceremony and cocktail hour music, and so the table signs that will tell guests where to sit for the reception. We went with each table being named after a cocktail (mimosa, margarita etc), and my fiancé and I are going to take pictures of ourselves drinking those cocktails as the table signs 😂 Almost there!

Hi mine is a destination wedding but instead of getting a full cake we are doing a dessert table and bought a smaller cake for the cake cutting pics. Could be an option for you?

Also a 2/26 bride and trying to check things off my list! I'm still trying to nail down what to do about a hairpiece and makeup. Rings haven't come in yet, either. I also need to tell my officiant if I'm changing my last name—I keep changing my mind.

We also had a last minute change of venue for the reception. Our hotel's restaurant we were planning to make a reservation at wasn't going to reopen until spring. Thankfully they offered us a private dining room using their bar's dinner menu. It's a good thing since the town is small and has no other good dinner options!

2/26/22 as well.. Dress still hasn’t been altered (was at my 3rd fitting yesterday and the dress isn’t started 🤦🏻‍♀️), and I’m still up in the air with shoes (so now I have 3 pairs lol). We planned on only 100 people (which is bigger than I wanted) and my fiancé has now invited 50 extra people who have all confirmed, wahhhh.. Kinda wish I had eloped haha #17days

02/26/22 Bride here! I am still working on small details! Planning is stressful. I hope everything works out! I am having a destination wedding so I've had to come to terms with letting go of control a bit. What do you guys plan to do for your seating placement cards? I am trying to avoid printing a bunch of cards and thought of doing small frames with seating assignments. However, I have to carry all the frames in a suitcase. We only have 9 tables so not so bad. Any other suggestions?

I’m not getting married until October but I got all my vendors besides dessert immediately after booking our venue in September and I got my dress and jewelry already and know where I’m getting my bouquet from. I’ve already bought a lot of decorations too lol. I’m so nervous to leave stuff until last minute that I went a little nuts 😅 but I’m sure all of your stuff will come together and congratulations on your wedding! You’re so close!

I have my final fitting and am picking up my dress and veil this evening, (assuming everything is ok and there are no unexpected surprises!) we have a few silly things left - printing off our thank you stickers for our favours, collecting a few decor items including our cake cutting set and my something blue, but that's really about it except for last-minute chats with our vendors and actually dropping the stuff off on the day before.

I keep hearing these last two weeks are manic and stressful and that vendors and guests keep asking stuff, but so far, we haven't really had many queries and so I'm kind of anxiously waiting to see what we've forgotten, and when the other shoe is going to drop, type thing? Maybe we'll be fine maybe a bunch of things will crop up last minute, but I feel like I'm kind of waving on the football field being like, 'I'm open! ask me something now! I'm available!' and then in a minute 50 players (vendors) will pile on top of me, lol!

I had alot of sad friends and family members we just all couldn't git in the venue and with covid it wasn't happening. But everything else is going great.
