Hello, Fellow July 25ers! Just curious where you’re all at in your planning processes? My fiancé Sam and I are having a pretty chill backyard wedding, but I still have a lot to do and I’m feeling a little nervous about getting everything done, even despite the fact that we have a whole year. 😂

Sara, my wedding was scheduled for July 25, 2020, but I don’t feel comfortable leaving the country with COVID-19.... we will have a private ceremony in my pastors office & select another date next year to celebrate.

Question for/need advice from all you girls still getting married this year on 7/25/20. Will you celebrate with a bigger ceremony next year? How will you tell people you “eloped” or got married if they weren’t invited to your small ceremony? I really want to get married this year, but with restrictions on gathering sizes most of our friends and family will not be able to attend. I’m nervous we’ll get a lot of extended family who will be upset they were not invited. Anyone experience this or have advice on how to explain our decision to family and friends?

Right now we have moved the reception to next year wedding still this year but I'm so bummed out. We been together for 15 years i was really looking forward to my bridal shower and bachelorette party plus my reception. We were going to have fun. I know covid is a real threat so we have to be careful and people are dying so it's more important than a party but I'm still bummed out.

We originally invited 100 people and had to drop it down to 20, which ends up just being siblings, parents, and grandparents. My fiance and I called all of our aunts and uncles and close friends and explained everything to them personally. They were all disappointed, but very understanding. Most people will understand why they are uninvited and will not take it personally. We also sent out "un-invitations" saying that we are not going to be able to have the wedding we planned and can only invite immediate family. We also told them that they will be able to watch it on Zoom or Facebook Live.

We decided to find a day of coordinator but she has been doing some of the planning for a few weeks now. It has been nice to have someone that has been able to guide us through the process. Our wedding is 7/25/2020 and we have decided to move forward.

Congratulations, July 25th brides!!! You did it!

If you postponed, my advice to you is don't stress. It all works out in the end. The Facebook feed froze right as the photographer passed in front of the camera, so everyone could hear the ceremony, but could not see anything... I forgot my bouquet when I walked down the aisle...My husband stepped on my dress during our first dance when he went to twirl me causing me to trip... And it was still the most perfect day! Do not stress. It will be the best day of your life regardless of the tiny details. Couples getting married on July 25, 2020 2
