Adam and I are getting married at an old silk mill in a historic neighborhood with a courtyard ceremony and indoor reception. Our colors are dusty blue (bridesmaids), navy (groomsmen) and gold (accent) with bright pops of color for the flowers! We're contemplating the theme of "Let Love Grow" since there will be lots of greenery and blooms. We will also be serving pie instead of cake for our dessert!

Excited to hear what everyone else is planning for their June weddings (:

Yes, especially since my venue is a county historical site.

Starting to mildly panic. Luckily we're not March or April brides – sending love to all of those brides who are heartbroken and stressed right now.

Trying to have faith that we will make it out of this and have our beautiful June 13th weddings. Let's all support each other through this! Post if you're stressed, need advice, etc.

We're supposed to mail our invitations this week, but are wondering if it's worth it...but they're all printed and ready to go so I think we will. I might include a a note that says "We are monitoring the situation and you'll receive an E-vite or other communication if we must postpone"

We have 13 weeks so...we should be okay!

Totally with you all. Really hoping this comes down and ends as quickly as it began. We are getting ready to send invites next week. Save the dates went out months and months ago.

Kinda worrying the my sisters bridesmaids won’t be able to get their dresses in on time. I’m one of her bridesmaids and my dress is already in production but you never know when the factory will just close. They should be in a month before the wedding 😬😬

    Hey Jessica –

Just curious, where are your dresses ordered from? My maids are getting them from Azazie.com. We ordered January 31st, they were supposed to be in the first week in April and we just got in email today saying they're being delayed 2-3 weeks. Not the end of the world unless something doesn't fit - but I guess it wouldn't have fit 3 weeks earlier either!

    Hang in there girl!

That’s where we got ours from. Now I’m totally going to freak out. That would put the dresses coming in 2 weeks before the wedding.

Oh no! So sorry!! Didn't mean to freak you out at all! Our back-up plan is asking for a refund and ordering from a store like Macy's or something that has dresses in stock all the time.

No worries. Would would shop at other stores too but all the bridesmaids are throughout the country and my sister loves the dress we picked from Azazie. The worst thing that happens is we don’t have time for alterations on the dresses and that’s okay. Mine will probably only need a hem up but the longer the better for me so I can wear sandals and go shoeless during the cocktail hour and reception 😁

Hello, my April 18, 2020 wedding was postponed by my venue and we chose a new date, June 13, 2020. We’re optimistic this date will be just fine! 🤞🏼

    Hi Shauna!

So sorry to hear that you had to postpone - but congrats on becoming a June 13th bride! We're all crossing our fingers that we will get to have our beautiful days. Feel free to post any questions/concerns – we're trying to use this board as a way to support each other!

Hi everyone! June 13 is our reception date, June 11 our ceremony at City Hall w/ immediate family only. We’re in a city that’s been on mandatory lockdown, and my company has had mandatory WFH for a few weeks now.

I hopped on here to see what other brides might be thinking, since we would be sending invitations out soon. Where we’re at right now is somewhere in the middle — want to be optimistic, but also don’t think we can hold off on potentially postponing for too long either. We’re also a little stuck with wrapping up some of our last vendors regardless, since catering tastings etc were cancelled when this started. I guess what I’m saying is we feel like we’re in limbo.
Anyone else feeling torn between carrying forward vs. postponing? Or unable to make the call right now?

Us too Cindy! We're going to send original invites with an extra note stating we're monitoring the situation and to watch for an evite if we decide to postpone

Thanks! It’s so appreciated during this time💗. Friends and family are an incredible support system, but only other brides/grooms to-be can truly know how it feels...

June 13th Bride! Currently freaking out. Our venue won’t hold another date for us in the future and only two Sundays are available (that could work for us personally), one in August and one is early Sept. Super anxious. Part of me wants to postpone just to feel relieved and part of me wants to keep our date that we’ve planned on for the last year and a half and not have to rebook vendors and guests reservations, etc...
6/13 BRIDES, please keep commenting your updates so we all know where we are at! The news has so many different reports, it’s hard to know what’s actually going on.
We need to work on this together. 🙏🏼💕

Hi Amanda! When are you guys sending them? I want to send them too with a note like that, but i feel like it’s just such a weird time to send a wedding invitation.😔 I was going to send out paper ones like this week, but we wound up not ordering and we are doing evites instead. I just don’t know if I should wait a couple weeks or if that will be an even worse time...

Meryl - 100% in the same boat as you. Want to postpone so i won't feel so anxious anymore but also don't want to jump the gun 😬 we're sending ours next week regardless with the small note attached. Idk what else to do since they're all ready to go!

What a crazy time we’re in. I’m glad we aren’t the only ones feeling like we’re in limbo with our event. We packaged up our invites and are sending them with an extra note saying we will contact everyone if our event is forced to cancel. So far we have not heard that from any vendors so we are hopeful and going ahead as if everything will be okay!!! Let’s all keep our fingers crossed!

We're in the same holding pattern. Were supposed to send out invitations next week, but my mom, (who is addressing them because she has beautiful handwriting) is a nurse and said to hold off. The problem with our date is it's too far out to be taken care of immediately and not far out enough to not be concerned. We have a plan B, but I'm trying to wait until the first week of April to make the call.

I’m relieved to hear we’re thinking similarly 🙌 I talk to my mom pretty regularly about wedding stuff, and a few days ago I got a prodding text letting me know a cousin getting married end of April just cancelled hers. All I could say was we have time to wait and see, nothing more to say lol

The note in the invitations is a good idea! I’m gonna consider that for sure. And I also agree on the temptation to just decide to postpone. The unknown is 100% where the anxiety is coming from for us, too 😫
