Couples getting married on June 2, 2023

Brittney, on January 20, 2023 at 7:43 PM Posted in Planning 0 1

Hi ladies!!
I feel like I am so far behind on planning because I did not to a single wedding thing in the month of December.(I need to hand on the forehead emoji). Anyways, I have a question..are you ladies having your mother in law get ready with you? She is included in your count for your hair and makeup? I know I should just ask if she wants to get ready with me, but she is driving me absolutely crazy during this whole wedding planning experience and telling my fiancé that doesn't feel included when I have been including her in everything but she just declines to come to things because she is busy. (Sorry, I am starting a rant, so I will end while I am ahead).

Hopefully you ladies are having a more enjoyable time planning your wedding!

I’m not because she’s his mom- not mine- and as her son it’s his role to keep her involved in wedding things concerning him (not yours). I guess it also depends on if she’s helping to pay for the wedding or paying for stuff for you- how much you involve her & in what. You could have the MUA and hair people go get her ready in a separate room & tell her you want her to see you walking down the aisle for the full Wow effect with everyone else.. it’s fair for you, as the bride, to decide who sees you get ready before the ceremony.

My wedding is the day after yours Smiley smile if you haven’t already checked out those wedding planning tools on this app, maybe do that and just get a handle on what still needs to be done. Any vendor stuff, etc. I think it’s ok and necessary to take some planning breaks… just chip away at a few things piece by piece & set some milestone deadlines so you get everything done with enough time to relax before the wedding day.
    Best wishes
