Couples getting married on May 18, 2024

I ordered our sola wood flowers for our bouquets and boutonnières.

I have two wedding dresses and I think that I’m going to wear the first one that I bought.


My other dress-

I’ve been looking at bridesmaid dresses and I really like this one-

I love this cake-

I’m going to be making our bouquets, centerpieces and decor.

We officially got our venue settled. They have an indoor space and a pavilion area with picnic tables. I just have to let the lady know which area we’re reserving because I don’t want to reserve both.
My ideas for the spaces-

The guys are going to wear gray suits so maybe the girls should wear gray too?

My sola wood flowers arrived and the colors are absolutely nothing like the pictures online. 🤦🏻‍♀️

So how is the planning going for everyone?

I’m still trying to work with the sola wood flowers that I ordered even though they are so much darker and duller than pictured. Now I’m just planning on using them in our centerpieces only and probably ordering fresh flowers for the bouquets and stuff. My daughter suggested that I add burgundy to our color palette but I don’t know if I like that or not. I might just scrap the sola wood flowers all together and start from scratch.


I put together two inspiration boards for the two ideas that I keep going back and forth with-

I think that I like the second one better still.

I found cute bear plates for the kids table.
