September 26, 2020 and I have booked the venue, caterer, DJ, photographer, and hair and makeup artist. My main priorities now are finding a florist and my dress!

We’re getting married same day!! So far, we have the venue, caterer, photographer and videographer. That’s it lol still missing dress, DJ, flowers, cake etc.

Congrats on your engagement. We got engaged in February and i pretty much had a good amount done and had to put it on hold because of my classes and moving to another state.

So far I am missing the flower girl, videographer, hair, makeup, jewelry, shoes, invitations and ordering the cake.

Flower Girl will be picked soon. We're stuck in between using one of my nieces and one of my finances but there are 3 girls in each family so that's the tough part.

Everything else will also be done in the next month and then I think I'm good.

What have you accomplished?

I'm getting married 05/03/20! Got the venue (obviously) photographer, videographer, wedding band, florist, wedding dress, makeup artist, officiant, reserved hotel blocks, went for cake tasting, going for a hair trial, visiting a furniture renting place and food tasting in November. Working with an invitaton designer now who's sending me over drafts for our invitations...Looking on websites to find my shoes and accessories... I just want to get everything done like...now!! Am I missing anything?!

Im getting married May 2, 2020 as well!!!! I have so many emotions but im not really one to plan things and it be so stressful. so just decided elope in vegas! But still need to book my day at the place i want. I have no kdea where to start. No dress or anything yet... Should i be stressing? Lol 😬

I have a party of 20 and they already all bought their flights. I hope we'll be able to fly in May. Also my (i do B.B.Q couple's shower) is in 2 weeks and theres not even food or drinks on shelves to buy for parties. I feel a little dumb like everyone is worried about getting food to servive and im like. Omg my shower and my wedding!!! Hahaha hope it blows over fast!!!!

I was stressing for about a day but then put it into perspective. Yes, the loss of money, time and energy from planning if this day doesn’t go as planned (and we know it won’t because we could have never planned for this) is frustrating to say the least.
But I just want to marry my fiancé, i don’t want to change the date and wait any longer. We are getting married May 2 no matter what. Nothing ever goes as planned, and i can think of a million things worse than people not coming to my wedding. This is not the end of the world.
My mom got ordained online last night and will marry us at home that day if it comes to that. Come up with a backup plan and be thankful you found your love.
