Couples getting married on May 22, 2020

Crystal, on March 14, 2020 at 9:47 AM Posted in Planning 1 15
Ladies! We share the same wedding date. Congrats!

How is everyone coping with the coronavirus during wedding planning? I just had our Precana class cancelled and likely post poning my bachelorette party plans.

I'm worried about having to postpone. I have been planning and saving for 2 years. So I'm just a ball of stress.

We have too! Got engaged spring 2018! Our venue has no plans of closing as of now. But they're assessing as the situation changes and confirmed they will work with us and be flexible. Reaching out to other vendors too.

We were late to the game in finalizing honeymoon plans but now that we picked the location I've been too scared to actually book the tickets and hotel! But if I get the courage to do so I'll definitely research travel insurance.

Trying to stay calm but definitely worried. The unknown makes me sooooooooo anxious. Waited so long for this, and luckily ours should be easy to reschedule, but I will be heartbroken.

I hear You! The uncertainty of when it will slow down has me on edge! Makes it hard to enjoy all the pre wedding events like my bridal shower and bachelorette party! Many of these plans are now TBD.

    My heart is so sad!!!

Hello, We also had our precana class cancelled. I would look into the online class for the requirement. They are offering that now and will be accepted by the church. I believe the one I signed up for is 6 weeks and you get a certificate at the end of the class. Best of luck, we can all get through this.

We are keeping our date. It is June 26th. As of now we have no plans on postponing it. Our venue seems pretty positive. Unless we are forced to postpone. I'm hoping for the best and that there is still time. My bridal shower is April 25th and we think that can still happen as well. Fingers crossed.

We postponed from April 4th to May 22. I hope we pushed it far enough out. Plans of ending quarantine are slowly being implemented, Texas wants to end the stay at home orders tomorrow, but who knows what the new normal will look like on the other side of this mess. At this point I just want this wedding over, I'm not excited anymore, just stressed.

I have everything dress, shoes jewelry etc and I only started a month ago with my wedding the justice of peace is coming to our house we having a backyard wedding anyway the only problem I would stay I’m having is getting our marriage license I told the judge that coming to marry us and she’ll try to pull some strings fingers crossed 🤞. If you have to postpone just know everything happens for a reason but girl I did everything last minute and it’s going pretty smoothly so I feel like you’ll be fine.
