    Hey ladies!
We’re also getting married on May 8th, 2021! We didn’t really choose the date for any particular reason, other than the cost was still a little cheaper due to the date and it was available at our venue. We got engaged in August of 2019 and at first were trying to pick cool or interesting dates (10/10/2020, 4/3/21, etc) but ultimately we just wanted a day that weather wise would suit us and the venue we wanted would be available. Couldn’t be more excited!

We picked the date because of the weather and Mother’s Day is Sunday so we can all be together the day before.

    Funny story for us actually!

So I am American and my fiance, Tim, is Australian, I am currently on a working holiday visa and it expires January- The venue we chose had 3 weekends in May we could choose from, we chose the 8th because of the time I will have to leave Australia and for his visa to process for a green card Smiley xd

Hey wedding twins!! My fiancé and I are running into an issue with florists being able to accommodate our wedding due to it being Mother’s Day weekend. Is anyone else having this issue?! Any tips for an already stressed bride? Thanks in advance !! xo

We were supposed to get married May 9,2020 but due to covid-19 we decided to wait. I picked May because I wanted a warm wedding.

We got engaged December 2019, and I wanted to respect my fiancé’s traditions (he’s Chinese, I’m American) so I researched “lucky dates” based on a few factors like both our Chinese zodiac signs, birthdays and of course we wanted a Saturday. His mom also helped identify some options which was a nice way to involve her. May 8, 2021 worked for weather and giving us enough time to plan. Congrats all!

I think my story is turning out to be more relatable these days. Our original date was June 13, 2020. Due to Covid we pushed it back in April to October 10, 2020. Well being here in Florida, and everything being so "all over the place" what we did when the court houses opened was to to get our license and on May 8, 2020 just had a notary sign the document and make us legal. Thank God we did that because not even 3 weeks after adding him to my health insurance- he got Covid-19. After spending 3 days in ICU, he completely got better, and came home, and we decided to move the date AGAIN because of Covid and being unsure of what the guidelines will be in October. SOOOOOOOO to make a long post short, WE are doing our ceremony with the vows we didn't say initially, along with the reception we initially were planning for, on the year anniversary- May 8, 2021!

Picked this date for more particular reasons. My fiance and I apartment lease is up at the end on may and we will be moving to another state since he will be attending grad school. Didnt want the added stress of packing and getting married. Also my parents gotmarried on mothers day weekend. So our anniversary is now the day before theirs

We chose the date because we wanted a May wedding, and it was the only date our church and venue both had available.

We was originally supposed to get Married on May 9th,2019 but had to push it back due to other personal reasons. We chose this date because of mother’s. Me & fiancé both agreed that we will like to see our mother’s happy on Mother’s Day & enjoy the beach scenery. Why did you chose your date?

We were supposed to get married that same day May 9, 2020. We to moved our wedding date to May 2021 but had to do it May 8 since it’s hard to have a Sunday wedding when there is church. We ended up having a small wedding with only seven people on May 9, 2020. Hoping Covid will be over or less of an issue and we’ll get the opportunity to have our real Wedding this May. Fingers crossed

    Good morning Date Twins!!

We are getting married on this day because it is my parents anniversary. He wanted some significance in the date. We were tired of postponing the event (second time for us as well) so we decided to get a bigger venue so that everyone could be there, but be a good distance apart.

Still going forward even with Covid, just because of the bigger location. Good luck ladies, Hope everything works out for us!!
