How's planning coming along so far?

My FW and I are in the planning phase. We are pretty sure where we want the ceremony to be (our parish). We also have our color scheme, and a few decorating ideas. We are also in the planning stages of the honeymoon (DISNEYWORLD)...

Update to my original post...we decided that Disneyworld would be WAY too much streess... I had a full-blown nutty when I crunched the numbers for it on top of our wedding budget. I would basically have to take on a second full-time job in order to afford the honeymoon. So...now we think a cabin or severalninns in the White Mountains would be better.

Hi! We are starting our planning now at the 18 month mark. We have our venue (American Legion), selecting colors and theme (shooting for Cinderella inspired blues, silvers and glittery) and figuring out how to spruce up our venue a bit as we don't have a ton of money for the big packaged venues. We'll most likely end up having a ham dinner that immediate family will help cook. Anyone else DIYing? Thankful for my crafty maid of honor.

I'm meeting with a coordinator at a venue this week. I'm starting to wish I'd started the search sooner since many places are already booked due to the popularity of the date...

Hey everyone! Anyone else getting excited as we inch closer to the 1-year mark?! I've lived in NH (Lake Sunapee Region) my whole life, so if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask away!

What is everyone doing for desserts? We're trying to make Cider Donuts happen, but can't think of a non-donut option or a cute way to display them that isn't too rustic.
