Couples getting married on October 18, 2024

Is it an outdoor wedding, and/or do you specifically want outside pictures? If not, then you don’t *need* to provide shawls since they don’t have to look uniform.


I don’t understand why umbrellas. If it’s raining, you’re going to be in your alternate venue instead of outdoors.

Hi!! 10/18/24 bride here. I am getting married in western NC and it is often in the 70s and 80s here so I won't be proving either. But, I suggest checking the farmers almanac and/or avg weather in your area before you decide! Will it be outdoors?

I grew up in Michigan and spent many Halloween's trick-or-treating in the snow... I hope you're not planning something outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors.. and pictures on the golf course to follow. Our reception venue is indoors but it has sliding window walls around the entire building. I'd love to utilize that for an indoor/outdoor event. Just wondering for the ceremony if its starts raining fingers crossed though!

Hi Richelle! I'm sure that you're in the thick of wedding planning like I am Your weather sounds much more promising. Ceremony will be outdoors for roughly 20 mins and then pictures on the golf course to follow. Reception will be indoors but I posted a picture in a reply showing how the venue has options for an indoor/outdoor feel. Where can I find the almanac?

Hi Rae, I agree.. its very possible! Short ceremony outdoors and pictures on the golf course. The reception will be in an all glass building with options to slide the glass walls open. Hoping to use this feature

10/18 bride here! I’m getting married in Buffalo so we’ll probably have similar weather (hopefully nice weather just a tad chilly).

I’m not doing an outdoor anything but just for pictures I was going to get my girls faux fur wraps. Not sure how formal you’re going but i hope it helps!
