Couples getting married on October 19, 2024

Yay wedding twins! I’m in VA, good lord I didn’t realize what all goes into planning. We’ve got the venue, photographer/videographer and MUA booked, almost got the DJ and Florist booked. Waiting until next year to book someone for our wedding cake and officiant.

Hello congratulations. Still looking for a venue & dress. Have picked out flower girl dresses & bridesmaids dresses. Already order my bouquet & bridesmaids bouquet, flower baskets ( petals) etc..

Anyone else have a slide deck to help them vision wise? I saved so many things but was having a hard time really picturing what our wedding was going to look like until I put together a slide deck and broke it down into categories. The only thing I don’t have no clue about is my dress.

View Quoted Comment I do not have a slide deck/PowerPoint. That is a good idea. I have a pinterest and lots of pictures saved on my phone. I have tried on about 15 dresses so far. I went to David's bridal and then the try before you buy at Azazie and Avery Austin. I still have not had that "I know this is my dress" moment.

Yeah, I made a slide deck on google slides and it’s really helped, plus I can share with my bridesmaids and matron of honor what I’m thinking for dresses, shoes, hair and makeup without having to spam them with pictures or lose pictures in my camera roll. I’ve never tried Azazie, but I’m saving dress trying for next year when my mom and best friends can fly up to help me. It sucks having everyone all over the states.

I am in Connecticut. We booked the venue, photographer, makeup/hair, officiant, and we are firming up things with our DJ. Next I'm looking to nail down a florist and set up an appointment with the bakery I picked. I have been told by the vendors I really wanted not to wait and book now because of price increases coming and availability. It's crazy! I thought with 2.5 years I would have enough time to space out but it hasn't been that way.

You're all making me feel good about starting early! I thought I should wait, but since everyone else is too, I feel less paranoid.

I’m from Texas! We got our Hall, and the package we got is helping us pretty much with everything. DJ, cake, food, table covers and centerpieces, servers and police officer when the dance starts. We have been looking for photo/video. I started planning when we booked the Hall. I ordered my dress. I’m doing my bouquet and my bridesmaids. I wanted to get a head start because I do not want to stress out next year. I do not want to be overwhelmed with things. I want to enjoy planning our wedding not hate it lol. But things are actually going really well. I hope everyone enjoys their planning!

Hi Ladies! Got engaged 12/25/2023 and wedding planning started 12/26/2023 😂🙌🏾 we’re not wasting any time! So far so good. I just hate making decisions in general and my anxiety is slightly high but I’m pushing through! I hope everyone is doing well!

Hello from CA! We're getting married 10/19/24, it's coming up so fast! We got engaged 6/19/23, and I couldn't wait to start planning!

So far we have booked the venue, caterer, MUA, DJ, florist, photographer, videographer, officiant, then have picked out the bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dress, men's formalwear, and I chose my dress.

Who knew there were so many things to book and to think about!? We just met with our wedding planner and discussed rentals and decor. I didn't know there were so many different ways to fold table napkins!
