Hello fellow 9/15/19 Brides in California! How are your plans going? We initially wanted a very small intimate wedding with only 30 to 40 guests in Carmel. Since it is on a Sunday 150 miles away from our hometown we didn’t think a lot of people would want to attend. As of now we have a guests list of 80 people. I told my FH to stop telling people we are getting married!! 😂😂
.I was already nervous about getting married for the 2nd time now I’m beyond nervous and concerned about our big day! It wasn’t going to be anything elaborate however, that has changed too and our Budget is— well what budget!?? How are your plans going and how do you keep calm and in control??

Congratulations Jennifer! I’m sorry that you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with your wedding planning.
However, you shouldn’t feel worried or nervous about your wedding day. All of your guests will have come to celebrate with you both, and you will get to marry your FH after all of this wedding planning.

Don’t feel bad. I wanted a small wedding with 30 guest and our final count is 64! I feel better knowing it happens to all of us.

We started at 25. I told my FH that 25 was just his immediate family and friends. I kept my count as low as I could and now we are up to 40. I've been telling all my vendors 35. Oh well.
Overall planning is going well. No real hiccups so far and hoping for nothing to come up.
I am keeping calm by taking it all in one day at a time and looking at this planning phase as the first part of the memory I will recall in the future when I think about the day I married my sweetie.
