Couples getting married on September 18, 2021

Rae'vanna, on August 14, 2019 at 8:05 PM Posted in Planning 11 33
Is anyone nervous, excited, or anxious about the big day? I don’t know how I feel it still doesn’t feel real. Do you feel like you made the right decision to wait awhile before having the ceremony?

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Rae’Vanna!

While you’re waiting for more date twins to join, there are a bunch of people getting married in 2021 you can connect with in this community conversation - Who is getting married in 2021?

It’s totally normal to feel nervous, excited and anxious about your wedding day. It’s often someone can feel all 3 at once!!

Is there something, in particular, you are feeling nervous or anxious about? Is there something we can offer some guidance or help with?

I don’t know honestly. I just feel this insane amount of pressure to invite people or do this and that. When in reality we just want to keep it intimate. But I also don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings because we want to keep it small and intimate.

I can totally see why this would stress you out. It's important at the end of the day that you and your FS plan the wedding you want. Try to ignore the pressure to do things. Focus on what you both truly want and plan accordingly.

The guest list can be one of the toughest parts of the planning process. I have linked some articles below that may help you when creating one for your wedding.

    Hey there, Rae'vanna!

How have you found building your guest list since? Have you been able to get it to a number you're happy with?

Im excited and nervous. Im pretty much planning it all on my own. Ill be buying things and setting them up while my fiance is on the road driving. Sadly i dont think he will make it back for the venue viewing but i really hope he makes it for the cake testing. That is his important part. If he doesnt like the cake we are in trouble lol.
I cant wait for our big day. Ive been trying to plan our wedding for 3 years but 2 kids in 2 years took our plans down.

I feel like this is a good amount of time before the wedding to allow for planning and also to just enjoy being engaged Smiley smile we can pretty much only view venues on the weekend so we took Sept and Oct last year to narrow it down and i am happy to report we booked a venue in Jan Smiley smile

I feel like I’m ahead of the curve. We have our venue, catering, photographer & officiant locked in. Our DJ is pencilled in just waiting for us to set up a meeting to sign our contract. I’ve been so bored with quarantine that we have our playlist drafted and picture list typed out. The way I see it, the more I get done now, the less stressed I’ll be next year. Plus it spreads out the costs.

Venue is a good place to start. once you lock down an place and see what their packages may offer, then go from there. Also, some venues have built in planners with check list.

We just booked our venue today! Our date was the only one they had open for all of Fall 2021, so if you’re reading this, GET ON THE VENUE EVEN THOUGH ITS EARLY. Lol. I am so anxious, but insanely excited. Congrats everybody, we’ll be anniversary twins for life 😂 also if anybody else has this day and lives in Kentucky, HMU Smiley smile

Oh man, I don't envy your situation. Is it stemming from a situation with the bridesmaid herself, or did you need to reduce the whole wedding party for some reason?

Have you tried sitting down and just being honest? Is it a bad reason, budget reasons or you just don’t need them in the bridal party anymore?
