Couples getting married on September 30, 2022

Kate, on July 13, 2021 at 1:27 AM Posted in Planning 1 27
Hi September 2022 bride did you guys start or do pre prep? If not when do you guys plan to start looking around vendor or start preparing your wedding? I feel like I'm getting crazy as every one said I start too early. I just don't want too much stuff in my head preparing and have 5 kids around me. 🤷‍♀️. I'm I being too much?

Nice.! That is my birthday. I wish I could do that but unfortunately the church that we are going to do the ceremony only have Friday and Saturday and the 23 aren't available anymore for my venue so we took the 30th instead. Congratulations to you too. I start some since last month and everyone were like you're too excited and start early where you have more than 12mos. Idk if that is kind of compliment or they are just being sarcastic. But I look at it as funny to I don't get stress.

Do as much as you like, however time is flying. It’s so many intricate details. However I enjoy planning.

I would start planning/booking things soon as a lot of couples have pushed their weddings/events back because of COVID. Its never to early to start doing things, our wedding is October 30th, 2022 and I have my venue and all my vendors booked already (minus transportation)

We're getting married 9/17/22 and we've already done quite a bit. We booked our venue (which includes food/alcohol), DJ, florist, photographer, videographer and photo booth. I've also started buying little additional decor. I bought my dress last week and they told me it'll take 6-8 months to come in. We're getting engagement photos in a month and a second session in October to use for save the dates which I won't send out till the end of January, but wanted time to have them made. The next things we're going to be looking for are ceremony musicians, invitations and officiant. We wanted to get a jump on things because we noticed with venues that things were booking fast especially for fall 2022 dates.

September 30, 2022. I've booked our venue, photographer, and catering so far. When we started looking 3 of the venues were already booked up and that was at the end of May. We booked our venue in early June as a result. I'm still planning and trying to get all our vendors together before the holidays hit this year.

My wedding is 9-23-22 and I’ve booked the venue (with caterer), photographer, DJ, and officiant. It’s never too early to start, especially after covid. A lot of couples that got engaged during the pandemic decided to make their weddings for next year so tons of popular venues and vendor are booking up already. It never hurts to start looking and budgeting.

Oh I seem I wish you the best and hopefully find your DJ soon. My venue included some vendors so I'm not that worried but I still contact them early so I I can see my list lesser and lesser stuff to think about.

Ours is September 30th 2022 as well! So far I’ve only booked the venue (who will also be doing the catering), and we have the DJ and photographer that we want to use lined up (people that my fiancé had connections with). I honestly feel like I’m behind based on what everyone around me is telling me.

I agree. The venue that I have in mind was already book for the date we wanted and by the time I decided to book it so we ended up changing our date to sept 30 instead of 23.

I agree. I ended up changing my date from 9/23 to 9/30 because the venue is book already and I have to ask the church if they can do the 9/30 coz they already have 10/1 event and they don't usually do 2 weddings in 1 week. The venue we book they are also inclusive which has the food, DJ, mc, cake and some little things so I have less to worry but I still have to contact them. So far my dress is custom made from a designer in my country and it's one if the thing that I'm not much of worry but needed to be here by January just in case it still needs some alterations hopefully not. And my favors are halfway done and the decors are also provided by the venue but I wanted to add a little something on it. And I'm still contacting vendors that I need. Some of my friends are like you start early m why are you so excited. I just told them that so I don't have any excuses for missing thing or being a bridezilla coz it wasn't the way I plan it or something is wrong and forgot to call and get the vendor. It's overwhelming.
