Couples getting married on September 7, 2024

I have a venue, just sent some “save the dates” but didn’t order enough. I have blocks at 2 hotels. That’s it! Trying to tackle photographer & food this week.

All of my vendors are booked, I have my dress, the save the dates have been sent, and we just placed the order for bridesmaid dresses. I am working on making a final decision for our invites, decorations, table settings, and registry now.


I live in a destination area and definitely had to book earlier than most. But I feel like a ton of people are getting married next year. It definitely was worth booking vendors as soon as possible and I feel relieved that part is over with.

We have our Photographer, Videographer, DJ, hair& makeup artist and Caterer. We are looking at Hotel Blocks (any tips on getting them to respond? I’ve been told to just show up), florists, tent rental companies, and bakers. Our venue just had a fire, but it doesn’t derail most of our plans. My dress and bridesmaid dress appointments are scheduled for January and February. We decided not to send save the dates, we are moving the invite timeline up and have ordered our invites already.

Oof! I am wayyy behind! We literally just decided on our date!
