Couples Swept Away vs. Excellence Oyster Bay

Has anyone been to either of these resorts? I had my heart set on Excellence but a travel agent is trying to steer me towards Couples. Thoughts?

We haven't been there yet, but we're going to Couples Swept Away. We chose it because our travel agent described it as having a beachy vibe, which we're excited for because all we really want to do is relax. Also, it seems like it is one of the most inclusive all-inclusive I've seen. It includes motorized water sports and the catamaran cruise, stuff like that & you don't have to do the room upgrade stuff just to get things.

Hi Paige!! I haven't been to either resort, but whenever I'm looking for somewhere to stay when I travel, I look at TripAdvisor and Fodor's. I looked up both of them up on TripAdvisor and it looks like it agrees with your travel agent. Couples Swept Away gets 4.5 stars against Excellence's 4 stars.
It's your honeymoon, Paige. Go where you want to go. What about Excellence made you set your heart on it?
