We are doing a courthouse wedding this fall in Chicago! We attempted to get married at a destination wedding, and our Officiant didn’t show up 😱 And tbh, we are more excited about the courthouse elopement! It just feels more intimate and more “us”. We are going to have a photographer. We are keeping it simple, but still want it to be special. I definitely wanted beautiful professional pictures to look back on. What are your plans??

Oh no, that’s awful your officiant didn’t show up!! And I feel that same way! That’s why I want to do an elopement with my fiancé and I! We were thinking of going to Colorado and eloping at the courthouse and/or city hall!!
