Cousin's bachelorette party- need ideas!

Hi ladies, I am organising my cousin's bachelorette party for next month. The only problem is I have never been to one! It's only 8 ladies and it is going to be at my house. I'm asking everyone to bring a dish of mexican food & BYO drinks. I'm asking everyone to throw in some money for a stripper & to cover some decorating costs.

Does anyone have any ideas for what to do? Games, anything! I am googling but would prefer to know what is good in practice Smiley smile

    Sorry, I have never heard of a hens night. It sounds like a small bridal shower?

    I believe it is an Aussie term for the US term - bachelorette party. Future MrsB -- it sounds like you have a good start with food, drinks, and perhaps a stripper. Something sweet like cupcakes or cookies might also be nice. There are a TON of games that can be played at a hen's night if things need to be made more interesting. Google "bachelorette games" and you'll have tons of options! Have fun!

    Thanks Robyn, yes it is a bachelorette party! Sorry for the confusion! In Australia it can go by either name but most commonly it's called a hens night so I didnt even think of the different terms in different countries!

    I'm gonna make "pecker" cookies or cupcakes with cute toppers/ "pecker" candy (or both) as well :-)
