Does anyone know how to cover tent poles without hiring a company to do it? What fabric would you use and how would you do it? Just wrap it around or what?

Do you want them covered completely or just decorated? For my sisters and my grad party we used tulle in our school colors to wrap around the tent poles so they looked at a little more dresses up. You could also use ribbon.

This is a video for a retail product, but it can also be used for a tutorial for a DIY.
You can sew a pocket in one end of a long length of fabric and thread it over an embroidery hoop.

Your tent vendor needs to know ahead of time so they can loop the rope over the top of the pole when the do set up.
