My wedding is March 29th and it’s local. My guests are at 135 and so far no one has canceled, and no one is coming by air. We also have honeymoon planned the day after in Cancun Mexico at a resort. I am just so so sad, frustrated and anxious about what will happen with my wedding day. Like what if this gets even worse in the next 3 weeks, and the venue cancels my wedding. We’ve planned this for 13 months and I’m just so discouraged.
What are other brides doing?

Our date is April 4th and I feel the EXACT same way. I cannot imagine rescheduling and planning for another date. I can't experience this level of anxiety again. Too much money and stress has gone into planning. I wish I could enjoy these next few weeks too, but I'm just on edge and sad. My FH is trying to keep me calm, but I don't think anything will keep me calm until the "day" gets here.

Sending prayers and love your way -- hopefully everything will calm down and we are able to have a semblance of what our wedding day looked like in our imagination.

Aimee - just this morning we've reached out to our venues to postpone. We're hoping to reschedule for early May. How are you holding up?

My wedding is the 21st too and I have been so stressed. Our honeymoon was cancelled and we had to cut our list down to 50 from 105 to meet cdc recommendation.

I'm also getting married may 9th and I told my fiance the exact same thing, well get married in his parents back yard instead with just immediate family. And hopefully our venue will let us postpone a reception for later in the summer, but until they cancel on us I'm not canceling!

My wedding is April 6. Venue just emailed me and said they are closed until April 1 for sure but will re-evaluate then. I’m also supposed to be in isolation because immunocompromised... I’m totally shell shocked can’t get out of bed. I’m thinking of switching to the beach w just immediate family and do a big reception this summer and am trying to keep my head up but I am HEARTBROKEN.

Even with the few people who come I don’t feel like I can take pictures with them because of my immune system. This sucks!!!!

    Hi Kelly,

I'm also getting married in Key West on 3/28. My vendors have been very nice about letting me postpone my wedding if need be but we haven't discussed full refunds. Are you going through with the wedding? I am so torn! It seems like they're doing fine down there and no weddings have been cancelled at my venue yet. I just don't know what to do.

We’re supposed to get married in Denton tx 3/20/2020. The worst part is waiting for the venue to finalize a decision. I’ll be hoping that this passes sooner rather than later. My current experience is that vendors are being accommodating in this, and I’m most certain yours will show the same compassion. As of today we’re seeing guidelines of no more than 50 per event. It’s ultimately up to the venue since it’s not mandated yet, but worst case is it gets postponed. I’m prepared to be married that day regardless of venue or how many people will attend. Been planning as long as y’all have, and I’m not willing to let this get in the way. Ultimately it will all work out. I’ll be keeping positive thoughts and high hopes your way. It’s a stressful time, but you and your fiancé will make it through and figure something out. I can’t tell y’all how many times I’ve cried today thinking about all this. But all we can do at this point is wait and hope for the best! Well probably end up getting married under a gazebo with the officiant and immediate family that day if it comes down to it. Have the big party at a later date if we get postponed and not canceled entirely.

Christine, our wedding is May 4! We're waiting it out for now, but I'm concerned with limited rescheduling dates. After the news today, are you guys still keeping your date?

    Hello ladies,

Our wedding is May 1st, the venue hasn’t cancelled and neither have any of our guest. I’m just afraid that it will get worse and my guest wouldn’t want to be around big crowds. Although I will completely understand, I truly want all of my guest to attend. This is driving me crazy! I’ve been anticipating this for 5 years! My bachelorette is in Vegas, my honeymoon is the day after wedding. I’m in a state of distress 😭

Hey Rachel, we made the tough call to postpone until August. We have quite a few older guests, so we felt like it was best. Honestly, our stress levels have decreased now. I feel so much better.
