My wedding is March 29th and it’s local. My guests are at 135 and so far no one has canceled, and no one is coming by air. We also have honeymoon planned the day after in Cancun Mexico at a resort. I am just so so sad, frustrated and anxious about what will happen with my wedding day. Like what if this gets even worse in the next 3 weeks, and the venue cancels my wedding. We’ve planned this for 13 months and I’m just so discouraged.
What are other brides doing?

We are still moving forward with March 29th, but cut our guest list to under 10. Anyone who cannot attend we are using a Livestreaming service so they can watch the ceremony...just going to set up my Iphone and they should be all set! They can still see it and we can still move forward with our day...just change everything up :-)

What state are you in? IL has a statewide lockdown until April 7th, you’re definitely at risk for getting shut down at the last moment.
I’d be very nervous. We’re getting married May 2nd and it’s all so up in the air. I hope you have a backup plan!

My fiancé is TOO calm! Like it’s making me nuts haha, but I’m naturally a very anxious person. I’m not ok with not knowing what’s going to happen. But for our May 2nd dates we really just need to wait. It’s premature to cancel or reschedule but I’d definitely have a back up plan. This could be a week of decision 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

You're welcome! We all need as much laughter as we can get right about now. But for the record I'm serious about my botox and my vampire facial for that matter. This face needs to be FLAWLESS on whatever date this wedding happens.

Our wedding was scheduled for May 16, 2020. 90% of our guests were traveling from out of town, so a Saturday is the most convenient time for us. Our state governor announced that no events over 10 is to occur for the next 8 weeks, so our reception venue offered to re-schedule our wedding for either August, Halloween, or November. Our church, pastor and all our vendors are available for 10/3/20, so we chose this new date. The reception venue is not available 10/3/20 and is NOT willing to refund our hard-earned money that we saved specifically for our wedding, and directed us to read their "CONTRACT" again. Shocking!! We are devastated by this and have let them know. Any suggestions?

I’m so sorry. I’m not scheduled to marry until July but I feel your pain. I’ve had so many wedding party rearrangements and fill ins that I stopped counting. We can’t combat an epidemic but it helps to stay positive. I hope everything works out for the best.

My wedding date is 4/25/2020 and my bridal shower is tomorrow. Everyone keeps asking if we are going to cancel and I'm extremely upset about it all. I'm not mad at the guest but I am very disheartened that we brides have to deal with this. We should all be happy and celebrating but instead we have to worry about a virus and cancellations. I know I've been planning for 2 years for my big day and I really don't want to cancel or postpone. I hope we can all make it though this dilemma happily married and celebrating with each of our families.

New headline today “Dozens infected with coronavirus after attending a wedding in Australia”. I’m in California, we are on lock down, our wedding was originally May 24, and we have just decided to postpone it.

I want our wedding celebration to be memorable, but not like this:https://apple.news/AsFQui9JIRG-UPk1gAqPYwA

Sorry to hear that. September wedding here. We asked our vendors and they've been mostly really great for a date change. Just feels so weird to have everything so up in the air.
