My wedding is March 29th and it’s local. My guests are at 135 and so far no one has canceled, and no one is coming by air. We also have honeymoon planned the day after in Cancun Mexico at a resort. I am just so so sad, frustrated and anxious about what will happen with my wedding day. Like what if this gets even worse in the next 3 weeks, and the venue cancels my wedding. We’ve planned this for 13 months and I’m just so discouraged.
What are other brides doing?

I have some date twins in here! May 2 for us too and I’m really stressing about this. They seem to be cancelling so many big gatherings I just hope that weddings don’t become one of them 😕 my fiancé never worries about anything and even he is concerned so that’s making it worse for me. It’s hard enough planning a wedding alone and now we all have to worry about this and our honeymoon too which is supposed to be in Greece. Here’s to staying positive ladies!

I have tried to remain very optimistic about this crisis, but sadly it's getting worse instead of better. Cruiselines have shut down operations for the next two months (some until May), Companies are banning international travel. I think all you can do is contact the venue and your vendors to ensure it's still a go.

Contact the resort and ask them what the scenarios are.

I'm sorry so many of you are going through this, but all we can do is hope something can be done to get us back on track.

I'm getting married the same day! But yes this concerns me too. I'm worried my brother and his family won't be able to attend because they have immune deficiencies. I pray for everyone's health.

I’m in the same boat, Our wedding is the 28th and we leave on 4/3 for our honeymoon in Belize. Our wedding is in St Augustine, a town built on tourism and a high volume of visitors. I’ve reached out to all my vendors there and no one has canceled yet, but I’m nervous.

My local MAC store did cancel my makeup tutorial planned for today, so I’m wondering if anyone else will follow.
Best wishes to you (and us all) that we still have beautiful days.

Date twin.... I am sick about this. We have been planning for 15 months and I was FINALLY excited, but now, I am SUPER nervous. I just keep telling myself that there is nothing I can do about it, so just try to wait it out and hope for the best

I just talked to my venue, and they said its business as usual for them. I think we all need to take a deep breath and try not to get too worked up just yet. April is still far enough away that we can hopefully enjoy the day. It sucks that all these plans are getting hammered, but we still have to have hope that things will settle.

That’s my fiancé’s bday. If the venue doesn’t cancel don’t stress. No one flying in that’s a positive. Hoping soon this will go away and they find out how to cure this. Best of luck.

I thought so too lol. Everyone is scared and upset, understandably, and some guests might stay home instead of making the trip. But that won't stop us from our day.

I still have 2 months to go May 24th. I am trying my hardest not to stress but the past week I am having so much anxiety. We have not booked our honey moon due to the spread. but when we get closer we have the money to book a last minute flight if needed. I am trying to be optimistic and hope everything settles down but, 75% of my guest are coming from New York. I will start looking into insurance today! anyone found any good tips on insurance? or have any useful info. please let me know.

My wedding is 5/24 and I'm starting to freak out. I looked into wedding cancellation insurance and several companies have posted specifically saying that they will NOT cover losses due to COVID-19. What is the point of having insurance that doesn't cover global pandemics??? Some policies are saying they will only cover it for postponement if you purchased prior to February, which of course we did not. Has anyone found a company that is willing to cover cancellations due to COVID-19? Or any advice for how to prepare for possible cancellations?

I am so nervous! Our wedding is 4/19 in Florida and at least half the guests are from the Northeast. Many are even from Canada so we're concerned if travel ends up being blocked from there as well. We had a room block and now we aren't going to fill the rooms because so many people are too afraid to travel. The uncertainty is so stressful! Especially after seeing what is happening in some other parts of the world... Praying that all of us remain healthy and everything works out

Mine is in July and while I'm a little worried about my out of town family not being able to come or cancelling because of this, I'm also hopeful the worst of this will be over by then. I've also been reminding myself that even if our venue does have to cancel, we can always go to the courthouse to get married anyway, and maybe instead just postpone the party with the venue and other vendors until later (like celebrating for our 1 year anniversary).

Hi brides to be! My wedding is May 30th. As all of you can relate I’m sure, this has been very stressful. I’m planning on still trying to have the wedding (god willing that the venue doesn’t cancel). It is not too far away from where I am at now and right in a beach town. Hoping the old saying of the salt air curing all might help. My heart goes out to all you brides out there that are dealing with this. Let’s pray that this all gets better soon!!

I’m 3/27 and I am in a complete and utter panic over everything.
As of now air travel is still on, but our honeymoon was a cruise and that will most likely be cancelled. I already bought the place settings, my programs, and everything. All with the date 3/27. I’m sick to my stomach.

We're getting married on the 29th as well....date twins! It's local for us too, but both of my brothers are coming in from out of town. One of my nephews has a very weakened immune system from childhood cancer and will most likely not come, as they would have to fly and I doubt my brother and his wife will want to take the risk. My other brother and his wife will also likely not risk it coming from California just in case they were to come in contact with someone on the plane and pass it on to my nephew.

Our total guest list is 15, so we'll see how small it really becomes.
