My wedding is March 29th and it’s local. My guests are at 135 and so far no one has canceled, and no one is coming by air. We also have honeymoon planned the day after in Cancun Mexico at a resort. I am just so so sad, frustrated and anxious about what will happen with my wedding day. Like what if this gets even worse in the next 3 weeks, and the venue cancels my wedding. We’ve planned this for 13 months and I’m just so discouraged.
What are other brides doing?

Oh my goodness yes! I get married March 28th and I’ve never been so stressed. Who would’ve known when we started planning two years ago there would be a pandemic? The majority of our guests are from out of state too. Trump says they might end all flights between here and California. I’ve had a few people cancel due to the hysteria and a few people rumor they won’t be coming. At this point I already paid the caterer so it’s out of my control. I just hope this wedding happens I worked two full time jobs and maxed my credit card to make this wedding happen. I want to marry the love of my life I’ve put so much work into this. Honestly though if we do have the wedding it’ll be half empty hahaha 😂 I don’t even wanna change the seating chart or anything and just see what happens. Oh man but fingers crossed for all you ladies. Much love!

Hey, I had half of the people cancel on me yesterday and my wedding is March 21st. Be prepared for everything. All you can do is think that people that really love you won't let you down.

My date is 4/4/20 and I’m starting to get nervous about the reality it may not happen that day, our local public school system has closed down for two weeks. I’m in Delaware and we have our first confirmed case. Most of my guests are coming from parts of Maryland, just a couple hour drive and no one has decided not to come that I know of. As of this morning my event coordinator said we are still on as far as they are concerned. It’s scary but brides please don’t worry yourself sick! It’s not good for you at all. Pray that everything will work out and this too shall pass

I’m in the same boat. I’m getting married the 14th, this coming Saturday and they already cancelled all large community gatherings in my county. Anywhere public is closed. We are also flying to mexico on the 16th so feeling very anxious about that too. I’m hoping my county is just taking precautions and we’ll be okay but it’s still very nerve wracking

Our wedding is also 5/02 with a honeymoon to Maui on 5/5, we are in San Diego county.. my mom said we will have to decide by mid April Smiley sad I was also wondering if insurance would cover it. We have already let our 10 or so out of town guests know that their health is most important so even if we don't postpone the whole thing, if they don't feel safe traveling to please stay home - very stressful time right now.

Not yet. We are looking at a house with property this weekend so that will be our venue if we do get it.

My wedding is the same day too, and I did that exact same thing as you; as far as posting on Facebook and being as understanding as possible. As pessimistic as this may be though, I am really just ready to get this wedding over with. We have had so much crap happen to us over the past year and I hate that I am investing so much time into one day, and now with this virus it is really just putting a damper on this whole thing even more Smiley sad

Working as a medical professional, i can assure you that unless you have underlying disease or a compromised immune system, even if you contract the virus, you have a strong chance of recovering from it.
Do your best to not touch your face and Wash your hands after making your rounds with the guests
Travel safely with masks for the honeymoon and enjoy the weather, the virus has a less chance of transmission in hotter climates so that’s an upside for your trip. Keep your distance and have fun.

Our wedding is March 28th so I am right there with you! So far, nothing is suggesting canceling. I plan on setting hand sanitizer everywhere and all of my guests are coming, so far
