I am just so so sad, frustrated and anxious about what will happen with my wedding day. Like what if this gets even worse in the next 3 weeks, and the venue cancels my wedding. We’ve planned this for 13 months and I’m just so discouraged.
What are other brides doing?

This is for everyone getting married in the next couple of months..... KEEP GOING AND LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE! The CDC has only mentioned cancelling events of 200 plus. But in reality you can catch a virus with an elevator. For guests and yourselves, wash your hands, take extra vitamins and keep yo with your hygiene . Please remember the same people that cause the chaos, can provide the pill..... tenor.gif

My wedding is April 18th and will be in Western North Carolina. We having 130 guest who have already RSVP'd and are still missing about 40. I am stressing hard. My venue for the reception sent an email out today saying that any event with over 100 people will be canceled until April 1st. Luckily, I still have 2 & 1/2 weeks of a grace period after that, still super nervous though. My FH have decided if needed, we will cut the guest list back even though we have sent out invitations and people have said they're coming. Hoping to have some sympathetic guests who aren't mad that they didn't make the cut.

I’m heading to Cancun this Wednesday for my bachelorette party. I’m super upset because spring break in Cancun is supposed to be lit and now I feel like my trip is going to be a dud. We are there the 18-23 so I’ll try to get back on here and update you on how it was there. If people are really not going to show up to your wedding for this , that would be silly . I’m pretty sure they said to avoid public gatherings of over 250 people. Do you have more than 250 guests invited ?

I have my wedding March 20th. I am a ball of tears and anxiety and it’s just been awful. Not the way I envisioned the week before my wedding being. I hate that this is happening and I am hoping it all blows over soon. So sorry for all of you that are going through the same thing.

My Wedding is March 27th and I've received about 20 cancellations all from out of state who had rsvp-ed a long time ago. I'm close to having a major panic attack and I am unsure how to fill the empty seats. Meanwhile I'm still waiting to hear back from more people. I'm not sure what to do.... This is crazy and I don't know if I can move this to another date and how it will work with all my vendors or if they will even want to work with me.

We are probably going to postpone our April 18th wedding until June. All of our vendors have been lovely. At first it was really hard to accept that all of our planning for the past 14 months have been ruined, but the city of New Orleans canceled second lines. Our guests were very much looking forward to that. But once the tears were dried, we got down to work and postponing doesn’t seem so bad.

    Hey girl.

I am totally feeling your pain. We are scheduled to get married April 4th and have no idea what to do. 90% of my guests are out-of towners. We have had a few people reach out and let us know they wont be able to attend anymore. It is so frustrating to put so much work and energy into your wedding and then not know what is going to happen. We are planning on moving forward with the wedding unless we are unable to. Our venue and vendors are assuring us that they will be ready for us.

Best of luck to everybody struggling with this right now. I'm here to commiserate or chat

My daughter’s wedding is in one week, 3/20. We’re in California and already so much has been shut down around the state. We didn’t start panicking until yesterday when the stricter event restrictions went into place. So far the venue hasn’t cancelled but the anxiety is through the roof. We have guests coming from all over the country, some driving, some flying. I just don’t know what we’ll do if the venue cancels or interstate travel restrictions go into place. This is crazy and horrible to be dealing with on what should be the best day of my daughter’s life.

I am hoping and praying all the brides here have a wonderful day that goes as planned!!

Small affair of 63 and so far everyone is still planning on attending. However, models are saying the virus is going to peak in about 2’weeks.... I think a lot will change in the next 3 weeks and I think I will lose 10 people at the very least. I just hope I have my witnesses there to sign the ketubah. So far, venue and caterer are going forward.

Hi brides! My wedding is on 3/28th in Seattle where it is the epicenter of coronavirus. It will be a small wedding with less than 40 guests, most are local. So far my venue assured us that they are taking extra precautions to cleaning and safety. I’m starting to panic, part of me feels like we should just have the wedding regardless of who comes and part of me doesn’t want to risk it.
I thinking to just have it as planned

I’m right there with you. Ours is the 21st and we had planned a cruise. We already cancelled that because the cruise ships are confining people who don’t cancel, to their rooms with free drinks. And at that point, I saw no other option

It's so hard not to panic. Months of planning and money spent. Ugh. Mine is on March 28th. The venue hasn't said anything and no one has canceled so far. I have to give final count for the food by the 20th and I hate to think that anyone would just not show up without letting me know and I'm bound by the number I give them.

You say you have a honeymoon planned in Cancun.... are you going to be able to fly out? I wish all the brides the best. Stay strong.
