My fiance and I are planning to have a small ceremony in August if we can't have our big wedding and having the celebration part of it in October this year or whenever it is safe to do so. Is it weird to still want a bachelorette and bridal shower closer to the celebration date although I'll be legally married?
My bridesmaids are on board with whatever I want but I'm just curious to know if that is weird given that the timeline is out of our control and normally this wouldn't even be a question because we wouldn't have to r/s our wedding celebration.
