Covid 19 Weddings

Are you having a Bridal shower? Regardless of wedding size some family members just like to send gifts we sent out our Save the Dates and already received a few items - but some of my great aunt's just like to spoil - lol.

Before all of this and before we cancelled our wedding wedding we already had a registry. We decided to have a zoom wedding on our original date and completely forgot about the website/registry. People sent us money and bought gifts off of it which was very generous and unexpected. We did invite our entire guest list so we did have 100+ people watching.

I wouldn't bother with a registry. I think that some people might send cash and a card if they are so inclined, but if I saw a wedding on Zoom I don't think I would think about a gift.

We had a bridal shower and my mom posted pictures to Facebook. Some friends saw and asked to buy gifts off my registry despite not being invited. A registry definitely wouldn't hurt!

We have decided we will most likely have to cut down all our guests besides parents and sibling in light of Coronavirus for health reasons, and just not knowing what the restrictions will be in July. Doing this we do not expect to receive any gifts. I would say make a registry in case someone asks you can send them a link, but do not expect anything.
