Covid and summer wedding

Hi everyone! I’m supposed to get married July 25th, I have over 200 people on my guest list, I’m wondering what other people are thinking as far as cancelling/postponing/changing plans?

Hi!! I’m getting married July 17th and we haven’t made any plans to postpone yet — our venue actually told us they aren’t cancelling or postponing any June or July weddings at the moment. We are having a smaller wedding ~50 guests. I’m hoping things are better by July because I don’t want anyone to feel like they are in danger of becoming ill. I’m just hanging tight until Mid May to see what our venue says. I don’t want to have to postpone unless it’s absolutely recommended.

Hey girl! We are also July 25th! I spoke with our venue today and he did not recommend canceling our day just yet. He mentioned having a back up date, just in case. I’m hoping that this will be over sooner than later and we’ll be able to enjoy our day! We won’t be making a decision to cancel it until June.
I’d hate to cancel it now when we may still able to do it later, you know?
And I know a lot of April and May brides have actually rescheduled to July 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi! We are getting married on July 25th (small wedding) and are not canceling yet! A lot can happen between now and the end of summer! We are holding onto hope, but will make a definite decision the first week in June!
I really hope we are going to be in the clear 🤞🏼

Hi there we just postponed our July 25th wedding until next year. We live in California and had over 200 people as well. We decided to postpone because we just don’t know what is going to happen and our peak is supposed to happen within the next two weeks. We are still getting married through the court 7/24 if everything works out.

I’m July 25th as well. I contacted my venue this evening to see if a plan B is even possible but haven’t heard back yet. We would like to hold off on making any changes until beginning or mid May.

Another July 25th couple. We are waiting until early June to decide.

We have cut down our guest list and may cut it down some more. I’m now thankful we didn’t send save the dates.

July 25th here too. Not a huge wedding - less than 100 easily. I think about if we are going to be able to have this wedding every day, but feel strongly about waiting until May 1st at the earliest to make any decisions. I casually asked the caterer how things were going with weddings and they let me know they were working on rescheduling the May and June weddings. They gave the option to reschedule right now and had a very great plan for any direction we want to go, but I'd like to hold off for a bit before making any decisions.

Hi!!! We are getting married on July 17th!!! Still holding out hope for our big day! We will have less than 50 people! I also have no one over the age of 55 that planned on attending the wedding even prior to the COVID-19 due to health problems and unable to travel! My biggest concern is all traveling bans being better by this point. 99% of the wedding guest will be traveling from out of state to where I live in Florida. So currently we are holding on to hope and faith, but we do have a backup plan with the venue in case things keep going south! Luckily, my venue is the one catering the event and other items we were just going to pick up ourselves for that day! I hope things start getting better and we can celebrate our weddings in July!
