Did you have a bridal shower during covid? Or did you decide not to have one? How was your experience? Did more/less people show up?


I just had my bridal shower this past Saturday. While I may have many reasons to be upset or complain, I decided to focus on all the positive things that happened. It may have been a small group of us, but we had fun. Also, the gifts we received were more than I could have ever wanted or expected. Here are some pictures of how it went.Covid Bridal Shower 1

    I love all the pictures and despite covid, we have everything to be happy for and celebrate for.

    Thank you so much! My mom and fiance worked really hard on it all. My fiance built the wall and my mom bought just about everything, cooked, and straightened my hair.

    Looks like you had a great time and you look gorgeous! I ended up having one just the other weekend and it ended up being a great experience! We had about the same amount of people I would’ve expected, we allowed for plenty of social distancing and masks were provided for guests that wanted them, all state guidelines were followed so I felt good about it. It was nice to finally celebrate our marriage a little bit since we had to postpone our wedding until July 2021.

    Our original date was actually back on July 4th so we rented some boats and went out on the lake with most of our wedding party- it was a great time! I hope you’re doing something fun to celebrate your original date as well!

    I actually decided not to postpone. We are still having our wedding on November 15th. Our venue, caterers, DJ, and photographers are still working so why not. By faith, not by fear! Our guest list is small so there will be plenty of room to social distance. Our plan B was to still get married (legally) on our date and having the celebration afterwards. Now that FL is on phase 3 of reopening, I feel pretty confident about moving forward with our plans.

    You look great in your dress!! So pretty!! I am glad that it all turned out!! So cute!! The decor is so pretty!! Yes, I did have one and A LOT fewer people came than anticipated but just like yours it was fun and the people who did come really had a good time too!!
