Covid brides!

They closed and didn't offer you a refund or any kind of compensation? That seems a little ridiculous. Will they allow you to reschedule? I live in Spring and am getting married in College Station this October. Everything is still going as planned for us. I know a ton of venues are booked through the end of the year now because all of the spring/summer weddings were pushed to fall/winter dates. I'd go through your contract again.

If your venue permanently closed and has no plans of re-opening before December or honoring your contract, you should absolutely be refunded the amount you've given them so far! How much contact have you had with your venue so far?

Hi Kerstin, I am so sorry you’re going through this! I had to postpone my May wedding to August & with the rise in cases, we asked if we could postpone our venue until next year. We had to pay in full by May 1st! Now I don’t even want to use the venue next year.
If you’ve tried contacting your venue with no response, maybe you could reach out to the local news? If you have proof of every time you’ve contacted them with no response, maybe that will help you win your battle. I’m sorry I don’t have more info. I do wish you the very best! ❤️
