I'm getting married in Lake Tahoe & so far, they are allowing 175 people to get married (supposed to go to 200 by June!!!) How is everyone else's state going so far? I get married July 30th and feel super hopeful with the way things are going!

    Nevada side?
I got married at Lake Tahoe too but in December and in California so we definitely weren’t allowed to have that many guests!
Things are looking much better in NV and CA now though so I hope you’ll have the day you’re imagining! Tahoe in July will be amazing!!

We are having our reception this Saturday (4/24). In Michigan, receptions indoors can only have 25 people, so we had to change to our venue’s outdoor space. There is snow in the forecast this week, and a high of 60 on Saturday. We are allowed 100 people outside, but it will be cold, and not what we envisioned at all 😔.

Oh no, that’s so disappointing. Can they add lots of heaters? Mulled wine? Hot cocoa?

I know Smiley sad. Yes, to the heaters but they are charging us for each one. We also had to switch our late night snack (cocktail hour through reception will only be 4 hours, so no one will want to eat again). Instead, we are doing a hot cocoa bar ☺️ It’s perfect because my husband always makes me spiked hot cocoas so it’s a personal connection now.

I know it’s so hard to have all these changes.
I always have cocoa with Bailey’s on Christmas morning, it started as a joke when the kids would wake us up at the crack of dawn to open presents and I said “I’m going to need some liquor to get through this crazy day!” and my then-husband brought me a mug, I almost spit it out when I tastes the Bailey’s...but it’s pretty tasty if you are expecting it!

I hope your wedding is lovely and you make beautiful memories!
