covid Fatigue......

So I was hoping for COVID-19 to be a thing of the past but it isn't. Any brides getting married in the upcoming months? How are you all dealing with things?

Auhh, the covid fatigue is real. My fiancé and I booked everything in February 2020 and since it was all inclusive, literally all of the main vendors were booked. Then covid came and I had my fears which I would bring to this forum and constantly be told I had nothing to worry about because I was the next year, but I’m glad I didn’t listen to those comments, because covid is still here and a worry for 2021 couples, even with the vaccines. Not everyone wants to take them. I’ve come to terms with being a covid bride and changing my wedding to be in line with restrictions I guess my main issue is our family still expecting a normal non-covid era wedding. I mostly plan by myself because I can’t deal with our family who are still in denial. It’s been a year now, time to accept what is in front of us so we can enjoy what we can have.

Good for you. We’re doing the same thing this Thursday. No fear of anything

Thank you very much. I know I am in the minority with my analysis. My reaction to a mask can be different to another. I can’t breathe, I get tremendous anxiety based on an unfortunate event years ago, I have a headache for two days after and I am yawning continuously a few days after.

I quit with being concerned when I heard some data and realized, yes it is not as bad as they thought, the target continued to move and I saw those who were pushing for them, were not wearing the masks.
We have not gotten COVID at all since this began, no fever, no loss of taste or smell, feeling really good and have implemented my own protocol. We have travelled outside the US and within the US. Been around lots of people since last January.
I am a believer in a alternative approach that works for me. I prefer to take care of myself instead of burdening others.
I do not live in fear and live my life outside of a bubble. I am happy and have friends attending that probably will wear a mask and that’s fine. It’s up to them.
    Thank you for your thoughts

Yes, I thought it would be over by now as well. My wedding is in 26 days and I'm ready for it to be here. I'm tired of planning, I'm ready to relax on my honeymoon
