Beginner September 2021

covid stress

Sarah, on October 28, 2020 at 9:59 PM Posted in Planning 0 5
I am getting married in September 2021, and I’ve been planning everything as normal for a larger indoor wedding. Initially going into the planning I picked a venue that could accommodate most of my guests even if city restrictions were at 50% capacity. While most people I know think things will be a little different the second half of next year If a vaccine is available, I still have the stress that either a lot of money is going to be lost, or if I wait to book vendors they are going to be unavailable.

I honestly think you were absolutely fine!! My wedding is March 27th 2021.. And I am planning everything just like normal.. I am paying off on my vendors and ordering guest favors and save the dates and invitations and everything like I should if Covid wasn't happening.. And my wedding is in March 2021.. your in September 2021.. I honestly believe you will be perfectly fine, more than fine! Just keep doing what you're doing, and don't worry about anything.. I will go as planned!! hey good luck to you However I truly don't think you need good luck I honestly believe you will be perfectly fine with your wedding being and a year!!

It’s so hard to say!! I would feel more comfortable with a wedding next fall versus in the spring to be honest... influenza + covid this winter is going to be terrible. Flu season is just starting... and most states, peak isn’t until Jan-March! Is there anyway you can hold off paying until a couple months before? How flexible is that venue being?
    Best wishes 🤍

I would continue to plan for September because things will be much better, you have almost a full year. Even if a vaccine isn't being distributed yet, I think that it will be more under control. My big wedding is in March and I am continuing to plan as normal

I’d continue to plan as usual. I’m getting married October 2021 and am trying to lock down as many vendors as possible, since a lot of people are rescheduling for next year.

My wedding is November of 2021, when we booked the venue it was still hopeful that things would be turning around by the end of this year. I honestly have cried numerous times this week over the stress of what is going to happen. I never wanted a small wedding, which was why I picked a date so far in advance, and if things aren’t going to be much different, I honestly don’t want to spend the money on something that isn’t what I wanted in the first place. Everyone keeps telling me to calm down, but it’s much easier for them to say when they’ve already had their weddings without government restrictions. I work in the healthcare world and see the ups and downs. I completely understand where you’re coming from.
