I know we'll be having several kids at the reception so I'd like to have those to keep them busy (or at least attempt haha). I'd put a basket filled with them on a table in the entryway and just have like 4 crayons and a small coloring book bundled together with a ribbon or something. What do you think?

Thanks ladies, you all have a lot of great ideas! I think I definitely want to go with this then because unfortunately I know there will be at least 20 kids there... (but you never know maybe some will stay home haha)

I love this idea!! Our venue has a room with a tv and VCR (yes seriously...a VCR!) and movies, but this could be somthing extra we could do to help keep the kids occupied!

Ooh Kaye I love that! Jealous haha Smiley smile I miss VCR's, we had one at the daycare I used to work at and it was so cheap to buy new movies for the kids since they're only like 99 cents!

We had a lot of kids between the ages of 2-13.

We made up some little activity books (dollar store) and crayon packs (crazy good sale on Crayola 24pks).

We left them in a basket near the door. We made up about 10. At the end of the night, we had 3 left and one of my bms too one home because it was My Little Pony and she loved it. lol.

    It worked out pretty well.

most of the kids spent the night on the dance floor anyway!

Thanks, that sounds like what I want to do with it for sure. I love that your bridesmaid took one home, sounds like all my ladies!

I have a ton of nieces and nephews and my fiancé and I have a total of four kids between us. I am really liking the idea of the table with Kraft paper on it. I really also like the thought of the glow sticks for the kids! I think that rocks! I'm sure the kiddies at our wedding will totally be dancing rather than sitting there complaining.
