Creating save the dates in Spanish

Amari, on December 11, 2019 at 4:17 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 4

I'm not fluent at all in Spanish , however at least 30 percent of the guest only language is Spanish (husband's side.. mother never taught him).

I wanted to send the save the dates out a little early since it's destination and it will be a magnetic ones I'm going to create myself. I really just need help with wording I guess, google translate is not as reliable sometimes.

This is just a sample of the English version , picture not us but the wording and set us is pretty much exactly what I want.

Congrats hope the wedding Planning goes smoothly! I'm going through the opposite, I'm puertorrican and my fh is american 50% of the guests are from the states and just like him they do not speak Spanish at all so I had to prepare the invites in English

I agree with Futurewifey’s wording. We’re in a similar situation with some guests being only Spanish-speakers. We did our save the dates in English and only sent them to people in the States, invites in Spanish (bilingual info cards) & a bilingual website. I checked my Spanish with our parents, a bilingual dictionary (printed & online), an online Spanish grammar checker and the Mexican-Spanish version of wedding wire bodas.com.mx . Wishing you lots of patience. Smiley smile
