Cruise for a Honeymoon?

FH and I are taking one to Alaska! We're literally the last ship going up with our line and I'm so excited!

Cruises can be great because they're pretty all inclusive (minus off-boat activities) but I wouldn't recommend one as a honeymoon if you're not big boat/water people. The motion can take a lot to get used to.

Do whatever you like! I am a huge fan of cruises, but some people aren't and that's okay too

I have really enjoyed cruising in the past but wouldn't be interested now without a vaccination requirement. They are fun and would of course be fine for a honeymoon. Any kind of travel you like is fine for a honeymoon. But I agree that if you don't know if you can handle being on a ship for a week, it might not be the best choice for you. Seasickness would be a real downer!

However if it’s your first one I recommend doing a shorter one. It will be a modified experience with covid restrictions and guidelines in place though so keep that in mind.
But, I think January is a great time to go! Escape the cold, cheaper rates(usually), possibly less people since its “off season”. Do research prior do choosing a cruise line and a destination.

That’s exactly the cruise we wanted! But thanks to Covid, we went to Florida instead! Plan to do that some day still though!
