Cruise or inland honeymoon?

Courtney, on July 24, 2019 at 11:37 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 9
Are you taking a cruise for your honeymoon or staying somewhere inland? We have discussed several options and can't quite decide what to do.
We are getting married in April, but we won't HM until the end of May beginning of June because I'm a teacher and I really don't want to have to take off work.
We have discussed going to Orlando and going to SeaWorld and Discovery Cove where you swim with the dolphins. I like this idea, but FH has been to SeaWorld and we've neither one been on a cruise.
He has mentioned Hawaii too, but we live on the East Coast and the flight is going to be extremely long. I also know June is beginning of hurricane season.

We discussed a cruise, but neither of us have ever been, and I have extremely bad anxiety with panic attacks. We were both afraid that if we hated the cruise experience, we would be miserable for our entire honeymoon, so we are going to do something that we know we will enjoy and be easier on my anxiety.

We are going on a cruise! FH has never been out of us or on a plane so it will be interesting. I have been on one and it was amazing. If u get a middle room, u dont feel ANY of the waves, etc.

We are going to Orlando to Disney World for a couple days, then headed to Port Canaveral to get on a Disney Cruise Ship.

We discussed a cruise previously. He's already been on a few cruises with his parents and my first cruise was with him and his parents in which he proposed and it was the most beautiful thing ever. Considering that fact, I just wanted to do something different. After much deliberation, we decided to do an all inclusive Sandals trip to St. Lucia for a week.

We're getting married in August next year and August is monsoon season there, so we're going to wait till February 2021 which is in the best time frame to go. We'll have to wait a little longer but it's definitely going to be worth the wait.

Another thing about the cruises that is kinda steering us away right now is all the stuff happening in the DR and all this summer. It has us kinda iffy about going to another country even if it is on a cruise.

We are from CT and went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. It was absolutely amazing and totally worth the long flights.

We are going on our first cruise this December and are very much looking forward to it! It leaves from NYC so we don't even have to fly anywhere.

We're staying inland by a beach. FH and I have never been on a cruise before, so didn't want to risk getting seasick!
