Cupcake flavor ideas?

Hi, Ladies!

I think I have finally narrowed down some cake flavors thanks to all of your suggestions on my previous discussion post (thanks so much!)

Since my fiancé and I are going with cupcakes & donuts as our "side desserts", can those of you that are having cupcakes give me some flavor examples and suggestions that you chose? My cake girl says she can do pretty much any flavors that we ask (we will be doing a tasting beforehand), so I need some ideas that I may or may not have thought of yet. Thanks!

    We are having assorted so red velvet, confetti cake, vanilla and chocolate. Just the basics that are included in our package. You can do so many different things such as oreo.

    We are doing chocolate and vanilla both with chocolate and vanilla frostings so that’s technically 4 options and also red velvet with cream cheese!

    I would definitely ask her for a tasting. Sure, she can make any flavor, but that doesn't mean that some aren't better than others. We served chocolate cupcakes with cookie dough filling, strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, and caramel apple cupcakes.

    We did strawberry cake with a strawberry jam filling. So good!!!

    I've also heard strawberry champaign cupcakes are really good! Donuts can be kinda heavy so lighter cupcakes may be nice Smiley smile

    I think you should start with vanilla and chocolate, for those of us who like the classics, and then maybe branch out into more unusual flavors.

    Ask her if she has a favorite unusual one!
