Curly girls - Prep for hair trial?

I just blow dried mine and put it up in a top knot. They took care of the rest

Don't straighten it. You don't want to knock out all of your volume. My hair stylist much prefers if I come with natural hair and he deals with it from there

I didn't do anything with mine but I did go get it cut the day before so that they would blow it out. I figured they would make smoother than I could.

I think it depends on what type of curl you have. My curls are tighter than most, but not the same texture as Black women.

I'd probably blow dry it straight(ish) so the stylist can work with it. I don't expect my stylist to first straighten because that'll take A LOT of time.

I just washed my hair the day before. I left it natural and she was able to do the style I wanted.
