I have all the heart eyes right now. For my engagement gift, my mom got me an appointment with a local brewer. FH and I will get to dream up a signature beer for our wedding which he'll brew! We're total craft beer nerds, so I'm over the moon! Anyone else doing something like this for their wedding?...

Anyone else doing something like this for their wedding? Would love to hear how it turned out!

THAT's AWESOME!

My FH is obsessed with craft beer and he brews his own (his dream is to open a brewery - it's in progress). At the wedding we're serving a blueberry hefeweizen he made. We also live pretty close to the Angry Orchard cidery and are getting a keg of one of their exclusive ciders they only sell at that location. Craft beer is the best, yours is going to turn out amazing!

We brewed a sparkling mead for our wedding. We thought about doing the beer, but realised its be too expensive (in time and supplies) for our guest list

I looooove this! We homebrew and considered doing a wedding beer. But our venue does not allow outside food and drink so we wouldn't be able to serve it.

@CindySue, that lavender white IPA sounds amazing. I am typically anti-IPA but that sounds like such a nice balance with the lavender!

@Melissa, thanks, it doesn't have that typical IPA bitterness. The white tea and lavender do indeed tame it down.
