Cylinder Vases for Aisle

Jess & Sean, on December 26, 2013 at 5:33 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 9

Hi everyone! I'm hoping someone has some insight for me Smiley smile

I was looking to do clusters of 3 cylinder vases (with underwater calla lilies) and floating candles to mark my aisles during the ceremony. While I have found vases in 7.25 inches and 9 inches at the dollar tree, I am having a really hard time finding 10-12 inch vases (about 3.25 opening). I only paid $1/vase at the dollar tree, but it seems like the taller ones are either nowhere to be found or so expensive! Smiley sad

Hoping someone has come across these and can help me. Thank you!

I have decided to downscale te centerpieces and go with the 9" ones for the same reason. You can get the larger ones at michaels and hobby lobby with the 40% off coupons but ou can only used 1 coupon per day which is too much hastle. Every once in awhile I've seen some in clearance at Walmart for around $7 for a 12"ish vase, but they usually only have 1-2 at a time.

Unfortunately I have looked at ikea and no luck Smiley sad besides table number frames I couldn't find much there for my wedding! Also haven't had any luck with craigslist, though I have been looking pretty religiously! I'm wondering if I should see if I can find some 6'' vases instead of 10.5-11, but I think the taller ones will look prettier on the aisle - I worry that no one will see them if they're too short, as they aren't eye level like centerpieces.

Sorry I can't answer your question - but I have a quick one for you! Did you order from the Dollar Tree online? Or buy them directly from the store? I was looking to get some for my aisle as well Smiley smile

Courtney - amazon is the best price I found but a killer on shipping Smiley sad

I bought my dollar tree vases online and then had them shipped for free to the store. You can only do this by the case, which means 12 of each item.

Mrs. Captain America, I ordered from Dollar Tree online and had it delivered to the store closest to me so I didn't have to pay shipping.

I bought tall vases that I think are what you are looking for from Christmas Tree Shop.
