You can rent a dance floor. I do not know what the cost is but you can call some rental companies in the area of your wedding to find out.

Have you thought about area rugs? There are a lot of pluses and minuses here.

Plus: You can create an interesting look with various styles (use similar colors to make it come together) from thrift stores or discontinued bins. Inexpensive if you have the time and patience. Easy for guests to kick off their shoes on a carpet vs concrete or wood decking.

Minus: You have to be careful not to create a tripping hazard. Time and effort to find what you're looking for. If you don't have options near you it could get expensive or look a hot mess.

View Quoted Comment This is such a GREAT idea!! And you could make it a really cool focal point. It could go with your decor, like if you’re going more beachy/ bohemian get rugs to match. I feel like it would be much more comfy and cozy for a dance floor.
